The last few days I have been back home in Esparza...there was some deep cleaning to do after our long time away from our little casita, and between brushing away spiders and washing clothes, cleaning drawers, and restocking the pantry I discovered that our fridge, which had been disconnected, was not working very well. Today it got fixed, and I am happy that my cebolla, chile dulce and cilantro will all stay fresh...!!
Yesterday E and I went with some freinds of his visiting the country to Poás Volcano. How fun it was to go on my own, without a group in tow! I forget the beauty of all the national parks I get to visit, usually there is a lot on my mind when I am there with students. Being able to go as a tourist was a loooooooooooot of fun! What a great day.
